Pottery: Unidentified Liverpool pottery (Probably)
Tin-glazed earthenware painted in dark blue with Oriental style flowering plants in bowls
Buff earthenware, thrown, tin-glazed bluish-white and painted in blue. The bottle stands on a low foot which is slightly concave on the underside. The bulbous ovoid body rises into a long neck with a cup-shaped mouth with an outward sloping rim. Both sides of the body are decorated with arrangements of Oriental style flowers and foliage arranged in a shallow Chinese bowl. On the neck there are two narrow horizontal bands under which are pairs of small inward curing scrolls alternating with spots in circles with three projecting strokes . On the mouth below the rim there is a broad band of trellis diaper ornament.
