Fritware painted in polychrome under a colourless glaze
Fritware, probably wheel thrown, painted in black, yellow, turquoise, red and blue under a colourless glaze containing impurities.
Shape: shallow, bi-conical dish, a plain rim descending via a slight carination onto a low foot ring
Interior: on the rim black cross hatching alternates with polychrome stylised half-flowers and leaves forming a narrow, concentric frieze. On the body, a couple in traditional dress are painted holding a flower between them.
Exterior: except for the rim of the foot ring, the surface is coated in a white glaze dotted with impurities or spots of pigment.
