Description

Greyish-buff stoneware, decorated overall with cut verti¬cal diaper pattern (Kerbschnitt), and salt-glazed. In the form of a barrel with a screw top with a loop handle through which is a loose ring. On the sides are four groups of three horizontal bands with Kerbschnitt between them. The shoulder is decorated with Kerbshnitt radiating from the neck. which has a screw for the top. The cover has a cylindrical lower part with vertical cutting, and an almost flat circular top with cutting radiating from the loop handle. The ring is decorated on both sides with indented circles surrounded by tiny holes, and on its outer edge has undecorated indented circles.
