The decoration may have been inspired by two prints by Antonio Tempesta (1555-1630): the bull from 'A Bull Hunt in an Arena', from Hunting Scenes II, (IB 36, 1983, p. 283, 1039 (164) and the lion from 'Lion Hunt' from Diverse Animal Hunting and Battle Scenes (IB 36, 1983, p. 323, 1079 (165).
