Description

Stoneware jug with applied shiny white reliefs, in the classical style. On one side, Britannia and another woman hold up a plaque bearing a portrait bust (possibly Isaac Newton), with scientific instruments at her feet. On the other side, a woman kneels before an urn on a pedestal. There are also scattered flowers, a bird, and a butterfly.
