Description

Porcelain, burnished and sawdust fired to produce a black and white streaked and mottled surface. Approximately oval, with deep walls, cut and folded over twice on each side of one end to creat an inverted V outline on the exterior

History note: Purchased after exhibited at Cambridge, Kettles Yard, 8-22 May 1983 Thirty-Seven Potters return to Kettles Yard/Together with Strange Delights gathered by Henry Rothschild in europe and Overseas, no. 178.
