Cat Jug

Pale red earthenware, decorated with slip-trailing in white and dark red, and lead-glazed. Under the cat's chin is a trailed 'T'.
History note: William Turner, Purley Chase, Atherstone, Warwickshire; entire collection sold to Mr George Stoner; this cat bought from him for £45 on 14 March 1911 by Dr J.W.L. Glaisher, FRS, Trinity College, Cambridge
