Tin-glazed earthenware plate painted in dark blue, manganese-purple and opaque white with small sprays of formal flowers
Buff earthenware, moulded, tin-glazed pale bluish-grey and painted in dark blue, manganese-purple, and opaque white. The plate is circular with a wavy edge, sloping rim and deep curved well, standing on a footring. It has three peg marks on the back of the rim. In the middle there is a cone-like flower and four leaves, and on the rim alternating white floral sprays and smaller dark blue sprays between narrow dark blue lines. On the base is an M or W painted in manganese.
