Buff earthenware, press-moulded, and tin-glazed. The wall pocket is in the shape of a corncupia which curves to the right. The lower part of the front is moulded with twisting fluting and the upper part has three quatrefoils below the wavy rim. The flat back is pierced by two suspension holes. A pair with C.2412A-1928
History note: Bought in London about 1895 by Dr J.W.L. Glaisher FRS. Trinity College, Cambridge.
