Description

Stoneware bottle of gourd shape with short neck. Thrown, turned and altered, with three indentations on body. Shiny black neck. Shoulder decorated on wheel with radial brush strokes in white slip. Lower side sponged with white slip. Final thin black wash over body. Finger marks show where the piece was held when decorating. Cord mark on base.
