Tin-glazed earthenware dish with fluted sides and wavy edge, painted in blue with a bust of William III, flanked by tulips, and WR above, surrounded by a border of stylized tulips, daisy-like flowers, tendrils and leaves
Buff earthenware, moulded, tin-glazed, and painted in blue. Circular with a wavy edge and lightly gadrooned sides and well, standing on a footring. In the middle is a bust of William III, crowned, bewigged, and wearing armour, with the initials W R above. On either side of him there is a tulip and leaves on a curving stem. Round the sloping rim there is a garland of stylized tulips, daisy-like flowers, tendrils and leaves.
