Buff earthenware, slip-trailed in dark and pale red and white slips and lead-glazed. Cylindrical with two loop handles. Round the top, a slip-trailed inscription 'THE.BEST.IS.NOT.TOO.GOOD. FOR.YOV 1697'. Below on each side is a panel decorated with a stylized tulip flanked by foliage and initials, on one side 'IB' and on the other, 'WS'.
