Description

An ovoid jar with a short neck, painted in blue afte the Chinese 'Transitional' style, with a landscape divided on one side by cliffs and swirling clouds containing two pairs of standing orientals with parasols and a single figure holding what may be a book. among roughly painted rocks and plants, with islands topped by pone trees and sailing boats. The neck has a dentate border.
