Description

Earthenware, tin-glazed creamy overall and painted in blue, yellow, and orange. Circular with a wide sloping rim, and deep curved well, with three spur marks in the middle. In the well, within two narrow blue concentric circles, there is a bust of a man wearing a helmet, facing in profile to left towards two flowers on a stalk. The rim is decorated with a border of curving stems of foliage and flowers with a dotted background between narrow blue bands.
