Description

Rectangular buff coloured stoneware flask, slab-built with two small lugs, spout and air hole on top. Base turtle-shell decoration, in blue on top. Red lacquer painted on sides, incised on the two large sides with watery landscapes. Incisions were originally filled with gold powder, now much worn (CHINKIN technique).
