Production: Pinxton Porcelain Factory
Soft-paste porcelain painted overglaze in blue ,green, yellow, dark pink, , red, and purple enamels, and gilt. Of truncated conical form, standing on a footring. the glaze on the inside is slightly speckled at the bottom. The exterior is decorated with two floral sprays with a smaller spray of leaves between them, and on the opposite side to that with the initials CG over 1796 in gold. There is a blue horizontal band just above the edge of the base, and round the rim, a red band between two blue.
