Description

Pale buff earthenwsare, thrown (?), and partially coated with mottled green glaze ;the reverse is unglazed except for a short area near the edge where the glaze on the front has run over from the front. Curved fragment of the rim of a dish with a raised edge.

Notes

History note: Found in London (outside the City boundary) by C.F. Lawrence of Wandsworth, by whom given to Bernard Rackham (1876-1964)
