Description

Fragment of a toy jug or jug, standing on part of a footring, and lacking its handle. Creamware, decorated on the outside with marbled brown and cream slip under lead-glaze.

Notes

History note: Found in an excavation in London (outside the City boundary) by G.F. Lawrence of Wandsworth, and given by him to Bernard Rackham (1876-1964)
