Cream earthenware, thrown , coated on the sides and shoulder with blue slip, between which is a white area with a turned pattern inlaid with dark brown slip. The inside, edge of the mouth, and a short area above the base are undecorated. In the middle of the base there is a blue slip spot. Lead-glazed overall.
History note: Found in an excavation in London by G.F. Lawrence of Wandsworth, by whom given to Bernard Rackham (1876-1964)
