Production: Unidentified Yixing pottery
Red dry-bodied stoneware. The lid is in the shape of an eight-petalled flower head with a circular gadrooned knob. The short flange on the underside is of octofoil shape.
History note: Found in Tooley Street, London by G.F. Lawrence of Wandsworth by whom given to Bernard Rackham (1876-1964)
