Fritware, wheel thrown, painted in blue under a transparent glaze
Shape: out-turned rim on a straight neck, descending via a carination onto a cylindrical body sitting on a low foot ring.
Exterior: neck is painted with blue dots above a pair of concentric lines. On the body a frieze of scrolling foliage and leaves is arranged in vertical panels, each separated by a solid line. The foot ring is painted with a single concentric line. Glaze covers the surface evenly including the underside, except on the rim of the foot ring. Interior: undecorated except for glaze.
