Pottery: uncertain
Red and buff agate ware slip-trailed in white under yellowish lead glaze. Barrel-shaped with a projecting lip and reeded loop handle. Slip-trailed round the middle, 'MRS (RS raised) HAWORTH BLACKPOOL JAN 1903'

Rackham (1935) considered that this might be attributable to one of the Halifax potteries but it is lighter in weight than usual for that area. Probable alternatives are Buckley in North Wales, or Cliviger, near Burnley in Lancashire
