Salt-glazed stoneware jardinière, coloured in brown, grey and blue glazes, with a foliate design.
Jardinière. Salt-glazed stoneware, modelled in high relief, and coloured in brown, grey and blue glazes. The sides are decorated with formalised foliate design and four scrolls just below the rim.
History note: Charles and Lavinia Handley-Read Collection; both died 1971; purchased from Thomas Stainton, executor of the Handley-Read Estate
