White earthenware, printed in underglaze blue. Octagonal with two long and six short sides. In the middle the fountain of Trinity College with beneath it the words 'HUDSON TRINITY COLLEGE'. On the rim a border of flowers and leaves on a blue stippled ground with a zig-zag band on the outside edge. On the reverse 'HUDSON' within a twelve lobed oblong frame.
