Fritware painted in blue under a clear glaze
Fritware, moulded, painted in blue under a clear, slightly crazed glaze
Shape: trefoil rim with a straight neck on a bulbous body, sitting on a low foot ring; a strap handle is attached to the rim and upper body and the lower body is gadrooned.
Exterior: the rim is painted in blue that has run slightly in places. The moulded gadroons radiating from the lower body and the foot ring are also painted in blue. The underside of the foot ring is glazed.
Interior: the blue colouration continues on the rim. The interior is glazed up to the upper body.
