Factory: Unidentified Staffordshire factory
White salt-glazed stoneware with applied relief decoration, partly gilt
Off-white stoneware, thrown, with shaped rim, three moulded and applied paw feet, and reeded handle. The sides are decorated with two waving and looping stems bearing mould-applied vine leaves and bunches of grapes, which bear remnants of gilding.
History note: Mr. F. J. Morrell 41, Liverpool Road, Stoke-on-Trent by whom sold on June 4, 1905 for about £3.10s. to Dr J.W.L. Glaisher, FRS, Trinity College, Cambridge
