Double Tea Caddy
Factory: Unidentified Staffordshire factory
White stoneware, press-moulded, and salt-glazed
White stoneware, press-moulded and salt-glazed. Rectangular with a transverse division, double arched top, and two necks fitted with screw stoppers, each in the form of a flower. The top was originally decorated with six small finials of which stumps remain. The sides and shoulders are decorated in low relief with a geometrical pattern of squares, each made up of four smaller squares containing five spots. Between the main squares there are horizontal and vertical dividers resembling rope.
