Description

White stoneware, press-moulded with integral relief decoration, and salt-glazed. The plate is circular with twelve arcs round the edge, a slightly curved rim, and a shallow well with curved sides. In the middle there is a spray of five leaves and acorn-like berries against a background of veining like that of a melon. On the rim, there are six groups of three acanthus leaves springing from points between the arcs on the rim, of which the central leaf extends into the well between the leaves of the central plant.
