Fritware painted in blue under a colourless glaze
Fritware, wheel thrown, painted in blue under a crazed colourless glaze
Shape: pear-shaped jug with a sharp carination in the lower body and an out-turned rim, sits on a flaring foot ring base. A strap handle is applied to the neck and body.
Exterior: a series of vertical blue lines are painted along the length of the body. Glaze runs over the lower body where it pools and forms droplets.
Interior: glazed but otherwise undecorated.
