Earthenware coated in a white slip splashed in yellow and brown under a colourless glaze
Buff earthenware, wheel thrown, coated in a white slip splashed in yellow and brown under a colourless glaze
Shape: hemispherical bowl with everted rim, sits on a disc base
Interior: radiating from the base a five pointed star, with each arm comprising three yellow lines. Brown vertical streaks are painted between the arms of the star. A scar on the upper body indicates contact with another vessel during firing, further marks on the base point to the use of a tripod stacking device in the kiln.
Exterior: splashes of colour from the interior run over onto the upper body. Glaze extends over the entire surface.
