Description

Earthenware, painted in green under a green glaze

Buff earthenware, wheel thrown, painted in green under a green glaze
Shape: hemispherical bowl on a grooved disc base
Interior: lines radiate from a concentric band on the rim towards a large dot in the centre of the base. Three scar marks on the base indicate the use of a tripod stacking device in the kiln.
Exterior: undecorated except for splashes of green from the interior on the upper body and splashes of glaze on the lower body.
