Plate. Hard-paste porcelain painted in thick enamels of very bright tone, predominantly pink and yellow. The centre has a pheasant gazing through the round window of a walled garden at its mate in flight above a flowering pink tree peony, within a pink trellis-diaper border reserved with florettes. The rim has alternating clusters of prunus and bamboo in bianco-sopra-bianco within a narrow green brocade-diaper band reserved with floral vignettes. There are two spur marks on the base.
