Pale cream earthenware, press-moulded, painted in blue, yellow, orange, brown and black under slightly blue tinted glaze. Oval with a beaded edging, and in the middle a profile bust portrait in relief of Queen Marie Antoinette of France. The beading is yellow and has a narrow black line within it. The portrait is painted in all the colours
