Description

White salt-glazed stoneware lady

Off-white stoneware, press moulded, and salt-glazed. The lady is wearing a large bonnet and open robe with a laced bodice, patterned edges, sleeves with ruffled edges, and a petticoat with a diamond pattern. The ruffled top of her chemise is visible at the top of the bodice. Her right arm hangs down, while her left is across her waist. The underside of the figure is open.
