Description

White earthenware toy dinner service entrée or muffin dish, bat-printed in puce with a mother and child.

Entrée or muffin dish, from part of a toy dinner service. White earthenware with pale-blue tinted glaze, bat-printed in puce and banded in blue enamel. Square dish standing on footring. The inside of the dish is decorated with a mother seated on a square box with a nude child kneeling on her knee, a vase to the left, and a large bowl to the right. The dish has a cover, see C.80.32 & A-1997.
