White salt-glazed stoneware with blue decoration.
Off-white stoneware, press-moulded, with blue decoration and salt-glaze. The woman is bell shaped, with wide shoulders and skirt and her hands are folded in front of her. She wears a frilled cap touched with blue, and a dress, with indented diaper patterns on the stomacher and petticoat, which are painted more heavily in blue. The back of her skirt is pleated and there are V-shaped lines on the back of her bodice. Her eyes, eyebrows, and mouth are also coloured blue.
