Production: Unidentified Egerlander potter
Buff earthenware coated with cream slip, and decorated in blue with a man and woman and the date '1810' under lead-glaze.
History note: Bought in Marienbad on 31 August 1910, for 20 kroner, from a local owner through the secretary of Herr Ott, the proprietor of the Egerlander Café in Marienbad, by Dr J.W.L. Glaisher, FRS, Trinity College, Cambridge
