Pottery: Unidentified Manises pottery (Probably)
Tin-glazed earthenware plate decorated in coppery-brown lustre
Dark buff earthenware, tin-glazed and painted in coppery-brown lustre. Circular with shallow curved sides and slightly everted rim. A suspension hole has been pierced near the edge. There are three spur marks in the middle. The front is decorated with a triangular area of a checked blanket pattern, on either side of which are narrower triangles with a plain ground filled with lustred circles surrounding a striped circle, and a motif resembling a bird's head and beak. Next to that there is a rectangular zone with zig-zag edges and a diagonal chequer pattern, and to the right of that a motif resembling a mound with grass growing from it, or possibly a crown. The edge is encircled by three narrow bands and a broad band. On the back there are six concentric circles.
