Production: Unidentified Staffordshire Pottery
Dark buff earthenware with streaked brown glaze, probably containing manganese or iron . Globular body broken off irregularly across the neck, standing on a disk base which is slightly concave in the middle. The glaze runs down the body in streaks, and is darker brown on one side than the other.
