Dish. Earthenware, slip-coated in dark red, with slip-trailed decoration in light red and white, under lead glaze. Back unglazed. Saucer shaped dish with crinkled edge. The decoration consists of a large formal rosette flanked by leaf-motives symmetrically arranged on either side of a middle stalk.
History note: Purchased by Dr J.W.L. Glaisher from Bishops' at Bideford, October 30th, 1924.
