Production: Unknown (Probably)
Earthenware, slip-coated, with incised decoration under lead glaze. Bulbous shaped pot with wide flaring mouth, and two loop handles (one broken). On one side is a thrush perched on a branch, and on the other side the name and date 'John Hoolme, July 4th 1805'.
History note: Mr A. R. Hakoumoff,5 Golden Court, Richmond, Surrey,from whom purchased for £6.5s.0d. in July 1922 by Dr J.W.L. Glaisher, FRS, Trinity College, Cambridge. It had arrive in Cambridge by 24 July 1922.
