Beaker vase. Hard-paste porcelain painted in an enamel palette of iron-red, yellow, aubergine, turquoise and two tones of green with details in black. The middle section is decorated with a bold chrysanthemum meander, the blooms in yellow and iron-red, between bands of overlapping red waves; the flared neck has three rectangular panels respectively enclosing prunus, lotus and peony growing from different jardinières, divided above and below by ruyi heads and encircled by vignettes of red chrysanthemum flowerheads flanked by black scrolls on a lime-green ground. The splayed base has three panels, each containing a chilong dragon in yellow, green or aubergine with a lingzhi sprig in its mouth and its body twisted to form a circle among foliate scrolls, divided by ruyi heads above an iron-red classic scroll border.
