Production: Unknown
Stoneware dish with a brownish green, slightly crackled glaze, Northen celadon type. The dish has spreading sides and everted lip, and the light grey body inside is decorated with incised and combed peony and leaves. There is an incised line around the outside, about 1 inch below the lip.
The foot is straight and square cut, with the inside slightly tapering and the outside edge only glazed. The unglazed remainder of the boot and base are burnt a reddish brown with grey patches. There is some kiln sand attached to the underside of the dish.
