Stoneware round box and cover, with a thick grey green glaze, Lung-ch'uan type. Buff body, with unglazed inside rims of base and lid, unglazed base. All unglazed parts burnt orange brown in patches.
Lid is decorated with underglaze stylised lotus flowers and leaf, drawn in slip.
