Maiolica spouted pharmacy jar, painted in blue, green, and yellow, with a scroll inscribed 'S D CIDRI' scrolling foliage, and splodges.
Pale yellowish buff earthenware, the exterior is covered with very shiny tin glaze, the interior is more thinly glazed, and the base unglazed. Spouted jar. Painted in dark blue, yellowish-green, and yellow.
Below the handle there is a scroll inscribed in blue gothic letters 'S D CIDRI'. The rest of the body and handle are covered with scrolling foliage bearing parti-coloured fruits. On the front of the spout there is a peacock's feather eye motif and dots. The neck is decorated with fan-like palmettes and splodges between yellow and blue lines of varying widths. Round the lower part of the body there is a continuous fish-bone between yellow and blue lines of different widths.
