The Presentation in the Temple: oblong print
Printmaker: Rembrandt Harmensz. van Rijn
Numerous figures, male and female, with the Holy Family amongst those on the right. They are illuminated by the light of the Holy Spirit radiating from upper left, the form of a dove above the figure at the centre of the composition.
History note: George Hibbert [Lugt 2849], sale (Thomas Philipe) 17 April 1809 and 14 following days, lot 41 (13th day's sale) £2.8.0 to Samuel Woodburn.
