Maiolica jug, body appearing pinkish, with handle in the form of three branches terminating at each end with a leaf.
Earthenware, tin-glazed overall. The body appears pinkish through the glaze which is speckled with black. The glaze has been wiped off the rim of the foot.
Depressed globular body moulded with twelve ribs and a short neck extended at the front to form a lip, below which is a moulded leaf. The handle rises as three branches, which join together, curve over the neck, and terminate in a leaf which covers the lip. The other end also terminates in a leaf which divides and curves round each side of the neck, ending in a scroll. The circular foot is moulded with reverse gadroons.
