Earthenware, tin-glazed greyish-white, except for the exterior of the lower pan and its base.
The oil pan, with pinched lip, is supported on a high stem rising from a circular pan with sloping sides. A loop handle is attached to the underside of the oil pan and to the stem. There is a hole pierced in the underside of the base, and the stem is hollow.
