Description

Earthenware, tin-glazed overall. The glaze is speckled with brown. Painted in blue, yellow, and orange, outlined in manganese-brown.
Circular with sloping rim, the edge slightly upturned, shallow well, and low foot, concave underneath.
In the middle, enclosed by blue, yellow and blue concentric circles, is a cross-hatched circle surrounded by four blue lanceolate leaves and four oval motifs, resembling hard-boiled eggs cut lengthways. On the rim and sides of the well there are blue crossed leaves and short orange strokes, alternating with similar oval motifs. The edge is encircled by four alternately blue and yellow bands.
