Fragment of a dish. Buff earthenware tin-glazed on both sides. Painted in blue, green, yellow, orange and grey.
Part of a footring and flat centre of a dish.
Part of a central medallion with blue and yellow background, and a border comprising two orange, a grey, and a yellow band, a broad green band with grey diagonal strokes over it, a grey, a yellow and two orange bands. Outside the border there are debased grotesques on a white ground.
History note: Probably excavated near the Duomo in Orvieto where purchased by the donor.
